I had a second surgery on my right wrist on November 16, 2016 after an unsuccessful surgery by Dr. White on 9/26. My right wrist has been broken since September 9, 2016 and I am 63 years old. New xrays and an MRI indicate that he put in a plate and one screw that immediately split the delicate wrist bone into pieces that laid on nerves in my arm. Now I am in a second cast with guaranteed promise of a positive outcome from Dr. Favatta of Jewish Hospital in Lexington. Highly qualified, he served on the first hand transplant surgery team over 20 years ago in Louisville. Since my first negative review of Dr. White, I have been contacted by multiple people, including strangers, about their problems at Danville Orthopedic and their emergency surgeries that followed. The problems range from sepsis to being told that "it will heal on its own.". I am hopeful that the staff and physicians at Danville Orthopedics will read this closely and make whatever changes in staffing that need to be made!!!! Neither I or my husband will use their services again as this nightmare for us has gone on for almost 3 months! It's been horrible for us both.
