When I talked to the facility staff, they said... Well you should have put your stuff in Rubbermaid containers, and I'm like: well I don't think they make rubbermaid containers for leather couches! You'd be better off saving your money and throwing your stuff in somebody's tobacco barn!
I have all of my furniture stored in the Self Service Storage by WalMart. I have been working in WV for the past 6 months, and I went to my unit over the Christmas holiday to get something, and OMG!!! EVERYTHING, was COVERED with mouse and rat droppings, and everything smelled like mouse and rat urine! I'm not talking about a few mouse tracks, im talking piles and piles! I have expensive leather furniture, antique furniture, a $2400 pool table, & most of my clothes in there. I moved out of a 3200 sq ft executive home thinking I was choosing a facility that was well maintained. My things are RUINED! And no, there is no food in there to draw the mice and rats.
